PHILIPPE HIQUILY (1925-2013)
Philippe Hiquily était un sculpteur et designer français, formé à l'École des Beaux-Arts de Paris. Influencé par son amitié avec Marcel Duchamp, Hiquily est connu pour ses œuvres surréalistes. L'artiste a produit des meubles biomorphiques et des sculptures érotiques, combinant une approche imaginative et fantaisiste du design. Par ailleurs, Jean-Marc Lelouch a édité en exclusivité Philippe Hiquily avec lequel il eut le privilège de collaborer.
Philippe Hiquily was a French sculptor and designer, who trained as a sculptor at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Influenced by his friendship with Marcel Duchamp, Hiquily was known for his surrealist works. The prominent artist produced biomorphic furniture and erotic sculptures, combining an imaginative and whimsical approach to design. In addition, Jean-Marc Lelouch has an exclusive collection of Philippe Hiquily with whom he had the privilege of collaborating.
