JEAN PONS

Jean Pons est un peintre, graveur, illustrateur et sculpteur français né à Paris en 1913. Il a fondé un atelier de lithographie en 1938, où il a collaboré avec de grands artistes du XXᵉ siècle. Son œuvre a évolué de l’expressionnisme vers l’abstraction, avant de revenir à une peinture plus figurative. Jean Pons est connu pour ses couleurs vives et son style personnel. Il est décédé en 2005 à Eygalières, dans le sud de la France.

Jean Pons was a French painter, engraver, illustrator, and sculptor born in Paris in 1913. He founded a lithography workshop in 1938, where he worked with many famous 20th-century artists. His art evolved from expressionism to abstraction before returning to a more figurative style. Jean Pons is known for his bright colors and unique artistic approach. He died in 2005 in Eygalières, in southern France.
